This week the energy will open our eyes to ourselves. We will be finally be able to see our own needs and desires as our individual path to healing is revealed. Whether it be the promise of dreams fulfilled or dreading the things we fear, many of us have been trying to live in the future. Neither is possible, nor necessarily inevitable. We can learn from the past and plan for the future, but we can only live in the present. When we attempt to live out of the moment, we miss the signs and opportunities to create or avoid the future circumstances.

The card we take from the past is the two of cups. It is a card of partners, friendships and relationships. With the rapidly changing energy, so are the connections in our life also changing. People and relationships that are not healthy for us will be disappearing, while those who will help us heal will appear. Yet there are others who will ride the fence, unable to decide what or who they want in their life. We cannot choose the life path for others, we can only respond to their decisions in the best and highest good for ourselves. Sometimes, the most loving thing we can do for another is to walk away and allow them to find their own answers. If you love someone, set them free; if they return it was meant to be. Sometimes it is hard advice to hear, but even harder to experience. However, sometimes it’s the only choice that is left.

The energy this week is the Tower. A card of karma and uncontrolled cleansing, many this week will be forced to evaluate how their beliefs and actions have created their current circumstances. As we dream so will we manifest. If we claim abundance, abundance will be provided. If we attempt to run from our fears, they will claim us. People, things, and possibilities will be removed from our lives to make room for our new challenges and blessings. We can freely accept them and move on or fight the change and make the process more difficult. It is our choice.

We will take the four of swords out of this week. We will be given a time to rest and regroup. Even if it is only for a short time. It is a ledge on the side of the cliff where we can sit and evaluate our progress. We have time to take a breath and look ahead for the new hand hold. During this time, some will pass us either as they move forward or back slide. By sending a blessing for the best and highest good of the other, we pay ahead for ourselves. A blessing bestowed is miracle we create for ourselves in the future.

The challenge we will all be facing is the ace of cups. A card of emotional and spiritual new beginnings, we will all be asked to walk the journey the unexplored path; whether an old challenge or new, we will be exchanging the familiar behaviors and beliefs for those which will teach us our next life lesson. It is time for us to have faith not only in ourselves, but also in the Divine by allowing their wisdom to help us manifest our dearest dreams. Our job right now is to be open to new possibilities and to trust that our needs will be met. We need to do our best then allow the Divine to do the rest.

The week of July 5-11 many will find themselves placing unreasonable demands on themselves and others. As the summer heats up, so will tempers have a tenancy to flare. The incoming energy will cause our thoughts and our attention to become chaotic and scattered as we attempt to reconcile the past, present and future. Healing the past will create new possibilities in the future; however, it will be building the bridge between the two in the present that will be the challenge.

The energy from the past is represented by the six of swords. The old behaviors, beliefs and energy is being released or transmuted into positive healing blessings. Although letting go and allowing change to happen can be very scary, it has been never as important as it is now. Change doesn’t mean an end, but new opportunities and beginnings. Those who stubbornly hang on to what is familiar but no longer beneficial will be only causing themselves more pain and fear than is necessary. Abundance on all levels is freely provided for those who are open to receive it; it’s just that sometimes it arrives in unexpected ways.

The nine of swords represents the energy of the week. It warns that we will be challenged to have courage and faith. Both are easy to have when times are good; the tests will be to keep the positive outlook when the future is not so bright. This week will be filled with sorrow and loss along with all that comes with it. For those who chose to focus on the blessings, miracles will appear. For those who choose otherwise, they will create what they fear. Like Dorothy clicking her heels together, we all have the choice to where this week will lead us.

Out of this week we will take the nine of wands. Holding on to faith and hope will help us maintain control over our own destinies. We do have the strength and knowledge if we choose to use it. Even those who have been spiritually and emotionally balanced find that they are reeling from the increasing energy waves. However, it is this influx of energy that will give us the motivation and ability to make the needed changes in our lives. The challenge will be to stay sane, balanced and positive while we are being upgraded from the inside out.

The economic challenges can be seen as punishments or blessing, depending on your point of view. The watch word for the week of June 7-13 is one. One kind word. One selfless act. One prayer. One gift from the heart. All new beginnings start with the first step. This week these will be first steps. Giving and sharing from our heart will open the doors that have been previously close to us. They are the keys to unlocking what we have been seeking. They are the passwords to the miracles. When we unselfishly help others, we become both the giver and receiver of great gifts. The big blessings grow from small actions. In most cases, we will never know how our actions have positively influences others’ lives. But it doesn’t matter, for as we have anonymously helped others, so too do others assist us.

As I was shuffling the cards the six of swords popped out of the deck. For those who have had the courage to release their pain and allow the healing, the past is becoming the past as they move forward down new paths. Taking care of ones self is not being selfish. We are only able to heal ourselves; sometimes the best and loving way to help others is to allow them to face themselves. You cannot fix others. You cannot learn their lessons. The best you can do is pray for the best and highest good, while being a cheerleader.

From the past comes the eight of pentacle. It is teaching and learning energy that challenges you to reach higher and further than you thought possible. The more you challenge your old beliefs not only about yourself, but also the world, the more you will see the falsehoods you were taught. By being able to see these old tapes and behaviors, we will be able to free yourself from them and find your true self. It is the time to learn how to put the past at peace by gently closing the doors and evicting the negative people that have made themselves at home in your head--the ones who set the limitations on your self worth and goals. By revisiting them with a clear and object perspective, we are able to see and release them with love.

This week is represented by the Hermit. To find our true selves, we must look inward. It is only by finding our core that we are able to build a solid foundation for our lives. Lives, like homes that are built on sand, will not last. However, if you build a sturdy foundation on stable ground, the home will withstand no matter what storms brew. Many of us grew up with negative messages both from within and without the family. As long was we allow those messages to be our foundation, we cannot survive the life challenges and emotional storms we will encounter. Yet if we revisit the past and heal forward, we turn sand to stone and recreate ourselves from the inside out.

The energy we take out of this week is the seven of wands. We do have the strength and courage we need to keep moving forward; however, as contradictory as it may seem, in order to tap into this healing power, we must let go of how it will be presented. Releasing expectations and being open will unlock the blessing flood gates. The more we fight for control, the longer it will take for us to find what we need. Learn from the past. Plan for the future. Live in the present. Sometimes it takes living moment to moment. Miracles happen in their own time and only when we are truly ready to receive.

The energy challenge we will all face is the knight of wands. A card of sudden ending and new beginnings, it is a card of change. Only this change cannot be sought or hunted down. It must find us. Our actions and prayers we sent out in the past are now returning Like the ripples created by a stone being tossed in a pond will eventually radiate back, so are our deeds, beliefs and words coming home.

With Mercury finally moving forward, many will be able to look back and understand why this time and challenges were so important to the future. As we cleared away the old debris, we made room for healing, hope and new possibilities to enter our lives. It has been a long time since many of us saw the light at the end of the tunnel. The wait and the work have been worth the effort and tears it took to get to the end so the new beginning could be found. The tears have washed away the fears; in doing so, we were able to find the yellow brick road to our personal Emerald City. We faced our wicked fears and found new friends only to learn that the ability to go home had always been within us.

The energy we bring in from the past is the six of swords. It is a card of release and healing. Many of the decisions of the past were at the time were made with the right intentions; however, as time past our heart told us that it longed for another path, yet we chose to remain on the journey. As the energy changes, many will find the strength and courage to choose another path. Instead of fulfilling others’ expectations or needs, we seek our own happiness. Living for others denies happiness for all. By being honest with ourselves and others, we open the doors for love and healing on all levels to enter our lives.

Old talents are revisited; new ones are developed. This energy will give those who seek it additional facets to their personality the ability to reawaken karmic memories. Suddenly interests and goals will change as we see our lives through a broader spectrum. Self imposed limits will fall away as our memories of the past energize us from the inside out, giving us the courage to reach for our true heart’s desire.

Also called the wish card, the nine warns us to be careful for what we wish for; we never know when our heart will be heard and which wish granted. Frequently we will find ourselves standing in the moment, looking backward toward the past and forward toward the future. From the past will come old unfinished lessons and challenges. However, what we see for our future will depend on how willing we are to learn from the past. Traveling the same path will take you to the same destination, yet those, who have the courage to learn from the past and release it, will find the strength to journey into the undiscovered country and find a new destiny. Letting go doesn’t mean surrendering. In fact it is just the opposite. Releasing beliefs, relationships and behaviors takes faith and trust. Change is inevitable. How well we accept the transformation is completely up to each of us. Those who seek to find love and happiness will find it when they choose to release the past and embrace the future.

The energy we bring in from the past is the five of wands. It is a time of testing of beliefs, boundaries and behaviors. We are being asked to challenge our ability to accept change and trust that the path will come up to meet our steps. Prayers have been heard and answered, but only for those who have the courage to challenge the status quo and bend the rules. Opening ourselves to others completes the blessing circuit. When we have the courage to share from our hearts, we become the miracles to others just as others become miracles for us.

The energy we will take out of this week is the Hanged Man. We will have opportunities for new perspectives of not only ourselves but the world around us. Although it will sometimes feel that our live are standing still, there are spiritual changes happening from both within and without. As each person ignites their inner glow, they become a beacon in the darkness, making it easier for us to see ourselves and each other for who we truly are. This inner light will also show us that the limits we thought were set in stone were merely illusions; like the fog at the coming of a new day, they dissipate, leaving us with a clearer sight of the path before us.

Like the turbulent spring weather, the winds of change are blowing through our lives. The week of April 26-May 1 will be a time of transformation, revolution and new beginnings. The final spring festival and the time of planting, Beltane week will be a time of fertility, creativity and prosperity. It will give many additional reasons to celebrate. Passion will ignite new hope. Those who have chosen to ride the wave of positive energy by releasing the past fear and anger will find new possibilities in themselves and for others. Being courageous doesn’t mean you don’t feel fear, but that you choose to face it and survive it.

The energy that is coming into this week is the ace of wands. This card appeared in the same position last week as does the next card. The ace of wands represents new work or way of working. It is having the courage to walk a new path and seek a new destination. As the issues of the past are dealt with and old wounds healed, our vision clears to see new people, opportunities and fresh starts. There will be many opportunities to help others find the road less traveled, not with words but with deeds as we walk the walk ourselves.

Once again the eight of pentacles represents the current week. It is a reminder that some lessons take longer to learn or accomplish; however, they are well worth the effort. Although the immediate benefits may not be clear, in 20/20 hind sight all will be understood. The challenge is to trust and allow yourself to dream your dream. Some will receive bills that are past due; others will receive the long over due paychecks. What each of us receives will be determined by what is in our hearts. The week of April 19-25, 2009 will be a week of exploration and discovery. The more we find, the more we will seek. This will be true on many levels. No longer will our curiosity and need to know be held back by fear or convention. Instead as in the 1960’s, rebellion and non-conformity will herald the time of great change.

From the past, we find the ace of wands. It is a card of new business, job or ways of approaching both. With the current job market, many are looking for alternative means to achieving their goals and meeting their needs. Whether it be using their talents as a source of income or bartering good and services, they are thinking outside the box. In addition, the sharing of information and contacts is creating a network that is accelerating the ascension process on a spiritual level. Every time one person helps another just because they can, they ignite another candle to push back the darkness. Sharing blessings and selflessly helping is the fuel that will power the age of change.

The energy of the week is represented by the eight of pentacles. It is a time of learning and personal growth that will set the stage for the Awakening. As each person realizes how unique they are within themselves, they are more able to respect and honor the same qualities they see in others. Those who are willing to share their gifts and help others cultivate talents will find their efforts will be reciprocated. As each of us grows spiritually, the whole is enhanced.

In spite of what is being broadcast on radio and TV, the week of March 29-April 4 will be one of creativity, prosperity and fertility as the prolonged struggles come to an end. The last details are tied off, ending the old challenges. The new ones have already begun to manifest. No longer anchored to the old tapes and behaviors, those who have the courage to try new paths will find those things, people and energies that they have been dreaming of. This is a week of new beginnings and endless possibilities.

Before I get to the actual reading, I’ve been drawn to two animals. After doing research, I realized that their energy and guidance will be helpful to many. The Moose represents the balance between strength and gentleness. She teaches that self esteem is built by doing things, which will use your talents, creativity and your inner wisdom to find new possibilities. By finding the balance between silence and sharing, we not only learn the most, but also find what and who we seek. Last night one of my baby skunks from last year reappeared on my back porch, only he isn’t much of a baby any more. Twice during the evening he wanted my attention. He represents our ability to find the courage and the strength to defend ourselves by using our wisdom and self-confidence to see people for who they really are, not for who they wish us to see.

The energy we bring in from the past is the ace of wands. It represents new work, new business and new opportunities. At some point in our past, we said yes to the right person or situation. The energy we take out of this week will be the ten of swords. It is a card of loss, separation and legal situations. On the surface, it seems to be a negative end to a happy week. However, these feelings come from the looking backward as old issues are addressed. Would-have, could-have and should-have are good theories in a 20/20 hind sight world, but they have no practical value in the real world. Every experience, every challenge, every person we have met in our lives appeared for a reason. Second guessing the whys and wherefores doesn’t change the fact they happened for a reason. By accepting and releasing the need to understand every detail, we allow ourselves to see the whole picture of our lives, not just the small moments.

The energy we will all be challenged with is the ten of cups. Dreams shared are miracles created for ourselves and others. The wish we made with the nine will be the challenge or opportunities we are able to share with others. The question we need to ask ourselves--is our dream or blessing big enough to include the others, who have yet to find their own. By opening our hearts and lives, we become the miracles that help others heal. The ten is also a reminder to say “thank you” for the happiness and love that has been brought into our lives. Small kindnesses become miracles for others that float back to us in unexpected ways. It just takes the courage to speak the truth and to let your voice be heard. The old saying--all evil needs to succeed is for good people to do nothing has been never so apparent than this week. If you think outside the box, you will find or be lead through the six degrees of what separates you from what you seek.

The energy we bring in from the past is the Queen of Swords. Strong and out spoken this is the feminine energy that has been building and waiting for the right time to be released. This applies not only to women, but the creative element within every man. This energy seeks to create the ability to alter our own reality with truth, wisdom and balance. The energy of this week is represented by the five of pentacles. In the Connelly books, the poem for this card is--Head so low, you cannot see just how good life can be. For this week this card is saying that you will see what you expect. If you expect hope, the messengers and omens of hope will find you. If you expect to experience despair, then heartache you will find. Those who have the courage to speak their truth will find they have more power to create change than they imagined. Facing fear brings clarity of thought, vision and will. For those who need confirmation of their inner power need only to look for the clear blue vision of the unusual, like a blue butterfly suddenly appearing in your life for one brief moment only to be gone the next. Seeing is to believe, but only for those who have eyes who are willing to see. You can be the miracle in another’s life by stepping forward and speaking out.

Justice is what we will be taking out of this week as karmic debts are called for payment and karmic rewards are paid… By Friday, there will be a major balancing of the scales that will help many regain their faith in the judicial system as well as the fairness of the universe. The end result is the four of swords. It is a reminder that if we don't take proper care of ourselves, emotionally, spiritually and physically, it will no longer be optional. It advises to trust and allow the blessings to arrive, instead of racing out to meet them or like a tomato that is picked too soon, the blessing simply will not be as sweet.

The energy reading for the week of August 17 will be a mixed bag of blessings and challenges. For those who have faced their past issues, the challenges will quickly turn into blessings. However, those who choose to continue to emotionally and spiritually follow past bad behaviors will learn that instead of blessings they will find increasingly intense challenges. The 8-8-08 door opening in combination with the eclipse of the full moon has shifted the destinies of those who have the courage to face their old behaviors and are willing to accept the changes.

Not only do we have to consider our needs but the needs of society as a whole. The blessings we will be given this week are the four of wands. The four is the herald of peace, satisfaction and harmony. For those who have completed this leg of the journey, it will be a time to rest on your well-deserved laurels by enjoying the benefits of your hard work. Partnerships that have become a challenge will eventually open new doors and reveal the next adventure. Yet those, who remain stuck by past behaviors or beliefs, will find the blessings eluding them as the get what they expect.

The ten of pentacles reappears in the end result position. It confirms it appearance during the shuffle. The two events have not only increased the energy available but have made it more accessible to those who seek it. However, wanting or needing doesn’t mean you will automatically receive it. This month the increasing energy will cause many to draw a line in the sand that will be deeper and more resolved than ever before. No longer willing to follow others expectations and rules, they have taken back their power and have started demanding their due. They have claimed their right of free will and have accepted the responsibility for charting their own course in life. No longer satisfied by the Grand Design or being told to wait for their needs to be met, they have rallied their power and have chosen to manifest on their own. No longer led around by the promised carrot, they have banded together as one time enemies see the puppet strings that have manipulated them, not for their good or the spiritual growth of the whole, but to satisfy the ego driven personal agendas of those who had been assigned to guide and protect. However, these guides and protectors have forgotten their role, claiming mastership over those they were assigned to serve. Their actions have not gone unnoticed by those beyond this realm. With the New Moon, the accounting has begun; balance will be restored. The New Age has begun nearly four years early.


The energy that will be brought in from the past is Justice. The long hidden truths will be revealed in such a way that they cannot be denied or excused. The middle of the month a single event will start a cascade that eventually will become an avalanche. Those that hide behind their false authority will find the spotlight shining hotly on them; they will no longer be able to lurk in the shadows as the light will follow them no matter where they run. Ghosts will awaken and join in the hunt for justice, bringing with them the destruction of those who had come to power through deceit and theft. Justice for one will lead to the revelation for three other as well as those far beyond. Those who must took fear in others for respect find that they no longer have the ability to have either. The month of April is represented by the Knight of pentacles. With the frustration, confusion and uncertainty, many will find themselves stuck--unable to motivate themselves to keep moving forward. However, if they refused to look at the big picture and instead focus on the tasks at hand they will renew their sense of purpose and find their strength of will rapidly returning. Like a house that hasn’t been cleaned in ages, to look at the task at a whole, it would be daunting; yet if you focus on one room at a time, the task unfurls itself with ease and grace. So shall we look at this month. As each revelation shakes our infrastructure, if we address each individually, while waiting for the end of the month for the full accounting, we will avoid the much of the paralyzing negative backlash.

The energy that we will take out of April is the nine of wands. This card talks about a new strength and wisdom that will clarify future goals and past mistakes. It is an awakening of personal responsibility and free will. No longer willing to merely exist in their own lives, more people will find their voices and the willing to use them. Simple and easy answers will no longer be good enough. Not only will the masses demand details, but also expect to be told the long range consequences of every possible path. “Because I said so” is not a viable answer to any question. Specific facts and details will have to be given along with the reasoning behind them. There will be a major breaking away from traditions, as once again individualism will be celebrated. However, unlike the seventies, it will not result in a “me only” viewpoint. But that of individuals banning together to restore civil liberties and civil rights. Groups who were in conflict before suddenly find they have common ground and a common enemy.

The challenge we will all face is the four of swords. Many will feel isolated from their dreams and society as whole. It is a time to rest, recuperate and rethink. The long dark night of the soul is over. The dawn is breaking. However, before over reacting, each of us need to stand back and find perspective giving the sunlight the time to drive away the shadows. If we act too quickly, before giving ourselves time to gain objectivity, we become that which we wish to destroy. Do the research. Get the facts. Find the truth. Face the fears. In doing so, not only will the foundation be restored, but also it will be made whole.

The energy for March 2008 will be mixed and confusing on every level. Many who sought Divine enlightenment will find that they were deceived by darkness masquerading as light. Instead of ascending into the Divine wisdom, they have become obsessed with their own spiritual growth and like Narcissus, who fell in love with his own reflection, so their egos are becoming overly impressed with their mystical gifts. Instead of sharing their love and light with others, they brag and boast about their new connections; just like those who those who seek power for the sake of power, they will never truly find what they search for.

The energy we will bring in to March is represented by the High Priest. Those who seek to know the truth will find the balance between their truth and the truth of others. As others mirror our challenges, we need to find patience, forgiveness and understanding for them, as it is the only way we will be able to find it for ourselves. Many have chosen not to question, but to blindly follow beliefs or traditions not because that is what is in their heart, but they fear being ostracized. It is easier to go along to get along than to have the courage to pull back their curtain and expose the man behind it. They would rather listen the booming voice and relinquish their power than risk standing alone. Yet there continue to be exceptions to this trend. Those who have been following their own path will not be turned back nor will they give into the fear mongering of others. As in the Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, they refuse to listen to the sensible people and continue wishing for their dreams to come true. It is this courage that will draw fairy godparents into their lives to create the miracles they have been wishing for.

March is represented by the seven of pentacles. It is a time of growth and potential growth, depending on how open each person is to change. Miracles will happen for those who have the courage to see beyond the disappoint and the anger over what we have lost. It is not a time for stubbornness or decisions made from fear. But a time of courage and resolve as we open our heart and lives to blessings. Many of us who have had their hearts and minds in conflict will resolve the issues in such a way that they well find peace. In doing so, they will tear down the barriers, which have kept their blessings from arriving. The work and sacrifice is done; it is time to accept the rewards. However, those who chose the path of fear will continue to find disappoints as the universe creates what they have been envisioning. Worldly wants and responsibilities still need to be met, yet the means to the end will be determined on the by the faith and courage within each of us.

The energy that we will carry out of March is the ten of cups. It is the sharing of blessing and dreams. As each of us has our wishes granted, so we are able to open our hearts and grant others the same gift. Literally, our cups will over flow to fill others with hope and new possibilities. Partnerships will be created. Blessing will be shared. Gratitude and generosity will be the keywords of those who trust. The lotus is opening early for those who are able to learn and grow through their old issues and wounds. They will be the beacons to the others who have the eyes to see and the nerve to follow their example. It is not the same path or destiny they will share, but the ability to chart their own course and create their own destiny.

The energy challenge we will all face is the Fool. We are at the crossroads. One path leads to courage and leadership. The other to closed eyes and minds as we blindly follow old teachings just because of tradition. The choice will be to learn or to become stagnant. This is the energy of free will and self determination. Those who choose independence will find the blessings they seek for they have learned from their mistakes and are willing to move forward on their spiritual path. Those who chose to continue on the same path will also arrive at a goal, but it is not the one they envisioned. Closed minds lead to closed heart. A closed heart cannot share in the love and hope that is freely offered to all. It is a circular pattern of behavior and beliefs that can only be broken by having the courage to accept change.
