Civil Disobediance Saves Lives

Until You Walk The Path, You Won’t Know Where it Goes will be chatting wildlife advocates Peter and Sheila Souza on March 20, 2014 at 1 pm eastern. We will be chatting about how they have used political activism, including civil disobedience, to protect our nation's wildlife and environment.

Peter and Sheila Souza began fighting for wildlife and the environment in approximately 1975. Peter and his group brought about the first land swap between National Park Service Land and Town Land to conserve Wetland habitat with many rare and endangered species. They stopped a road widening project within national park land that would have destroyed hundreds of acres of prime wildlife habitat and also would have destroyed the historical significance of the road. This gained them national media attention, including on CNN. Additionally, they prevented a waste facility plant from being built on land that would have impacted over 40 acres of the largest quaking bog on a sand barrier in the world, a wetland full of endangered species. Today that land is under land conservation trust. They were able to stop a drastic poisoning project being led by USFWS on a national wildlife refuge in Chatham Massachusetts that targeting all seagulls, terns, black crowned night herons, coyotes raccoons even skunks, It was stopped it with peaceful civil disobedience. This got national media attention, including on CNN.

They forced the Provincetown to create the first Wetland Management Protection Plan in the State of Massachusetts, as well as to clean up and create filters for all storm drains to protect the harbor and Oceans as well as the Largest Quaking bog on a sand barrier in the world. They have taken children on Wildlife tours and have brought wildlife into the classrooms to educate children on the value of all life and wildlife. They have rescued many many Wild animals, from a bald eagle, deer, American Bittern, Wild Turkeys, opossums, 100 pound Snapping turtles, Eastern Spotted turtle, Endangered Spadefoot Toads as well as many others.

Do you believe in a forever kind of love?

Using researching for his new book as an excuse, Michael visits his friend Lynne in Coyote Springs. In his conscious mind, he wants to rekindle their romantic relationship; instead, he fixates on Randolph Bellows and his family. Michael meets Bellow's granddaughter Shane. Nearly half his age, Shane reawakens the passion within him. He calls it love, Lynne knows better. Michael doesn’t love Shane any more than he loved her. Against the advice of others, Michael and Shane marry.

Michael’s obsession deepens. It’s all he can think and dream about. He knows there is more to it than can be seen. The town is shocked when the owner of the Bellows Mansion allows the couple to move into the old house. Michael is ecstatic. Growing up, Shane heard how the ghost of her grandfather’s first wife tormented his second family until they were forced to flee to be free of the ghost’s curse. Although Shane fears the house, she loves Michael more, and reluctantly agrees to move in. He finds Sara Jane's bedroom.. Taking the panel off the wall does more than reveal the hidden room. Turning the knob, he opens the door to the past. Crossing the threshold starts him down a path, which could once again lead to obsessive love, betrayal, and murder.

In spite of her reservations, Elizabeth agrees to teach a writing course at a small college. Her instinct tells her to run in the opposite direction, but she never forgets a kindness. Arriving in town, she instantly regrets her decision. But as much as she wants to run, the town draws her in, awakening old memories of passion, anger and fear. By the time she realizes what is happening, it is too late to run. The doors of her past are opened and memories overwhelm her.

Love, guilt and betrayal intertwine forming a kaleidoscope of memories as the past and present abruptly collide. Can they remember the love and learn from the past before they once again turn down the path of murder and revenge?

Learn the Truth about the Borden House

Until You Walk The Path, You Won’t Know Where it Goes will be chatting paranormal investigator Joseph Lawson on March 11, 2014 at 1 pm. We will be chatting about the his paranormal experiences, including those at the Borden House. Lawson will also be sharing valuable tips of what to do and not do during an investigation.

Joseph Lawson, the Founder of Lawson Paranormal doesn’t scare easily. What most folks would
consider “going a bit too far”, actually peaks Lawson’s interest. It was at the most haunted house in
the country last year, that fellow investigators were ready to hang it up and run but Lawson, relentless
and ready to make a connection did just that with the infamous axe murderess Lizzie Borden..

From his personal investigations in New Orleans, to Gettysburg to St Augustine to Salem MA, home
to America’s first horror story; the Salem Witch Trials, Lawson has led hundreds of ghost seekers on
his company run investigations. He’s shared his ghost stories to millions of people on his syndicated
radio show The Paranormal Gallery, on countless television appearances and speaking engagements
around the country.

Yet, after investigating some of the most infamous places in the world, the ghost of Lizzie still calls to
him. So he’ll make a return visit to the Borden House this Memorial Day Weekend. He’ll share his
upcoming experiences in Alternatives Spirit Guide, a national magazine where he pens the paranormal
pages.

Lawson grew up in Pontiac Mi where his backyard was a cemetery. His interest in the afterlife began
at an early age when he starting having “experiences” and seeing ghosts. His parents brushed off his
questions but he persisted. Reading every book on the supernatural he could get his hands on as a
teenager, he beganconsidering the paranormal as a serious career when he had an opportunity to be
producer and co host for CBS Psychic radio. Working also as a producer/writer at WYCD 99.5 FM
Detroit, Lawson met psychic medium Maria Shaw, his co host , who later became his wife. The two
work together as a team traveling and investigating sites across the country. Lawson currently resides
appropriately in New Orleans, haunted French Quarter in a 180 year old home. He travels extensively
speaking to groups and hosting investigations open to people who share an interest in the paranormal.

Horses and Heroes: A Healing Documentary for Veterans

People have asked me what we need for Horses and Heroes. What they are really asking is how would helping us benefit them. The answer is very simple. We are offering excellent opportunities to embed products/services in a family friendly documentary that will appeal to a very diverse audience, especially those who are in the military and their families. The paperwork was completed to grandfather H & H into Section 181 of the Jobs Act, which gives investors a K-1 tax deduction equal to what they invest. Our connection with the cable channels make potentially very profitable.

Horses and Heroes will be formatted for cable networks, such as the Military Channel, other Discovery networks, History Channel, AMC, and A & E. We also have a foreign television distributor interested in presenting Horses and Heroes to their European networks. Our director, Larry Wilcox, has a strong connection to a distributor, who has connections with universities, colleges, and medical facilities. However, we will also be sponsoring a very limited theatrical release, which will act as fundraisers for veterans’ organizations such as Wounded Warrior Project, Military Warriors Support Foundation, Coming Home Project, and Operation Second Chance etc. Documentaries and films, which are shown in theatres and in film festivals, receive better network leasing contracts as well as greater DVD/download sales. In addition, the expenses connected to fund raising events would be considered a donation to the non-profit group and thereby they will be tax deductible.

The package would cost approximately the same as one national ad. However, we have broken the time into five segments the three 30 second bumpers and the two the 10 second billboards to make it affordable to smaller companies.

To  learn more about our team, please go to our website at http://cproduction5.wix.com/cosmos-productions-#!page3/cee5. If you would like to know more what we are offering sponsors and investors please contact Theresa Chaze at 231-943-3298.

Corporate Sponsorship to Help Veterans

People have asked me what we need for Horses and Heroes. What they are really asking is how would helping us benefit them. The answer is very simple. We are offering excellent opportunities to embed products/services in a family friendly documentary.

Horses and Heroes is a documentary, which will help military personnel and veterans find a new way to cope with the physical and emotional challenges brought into their lives by war. Equine Therapy doesn't not involve drugs nor lying on a couch and spilling their guts. What it does do is help them find new ways to see and react to their emotional triggers. It helps their bodies remember how it used to work. It can't replace what was lost, but it can give them the confidence to see that they are more than the sum of their body parts.

We are offering ten second acknowledging spots at the open and close of the show as well as three thirty second show bumpers at the half hour marks. Additionally, sponsors logos in the form of banners will appear in the background, much like at sporting events. If the sponsor has promotional material, such as jackets, hats, mugs, etc, we can arrange for them to receive positive placement within the documentary. We will also be thanking the sponsor in the credits and have an active link on our website to their site.

Horses and Heroes will be formatted for cable networks, such as the Military Channel, other Discovery networks, History Channel, AMC, and A & E. We also have a foreign television distributor interested in presenting Horses and Heroes to their European networks.

For one sponsor this package would cost approximately the same as one national ad.

Benjamin Allen: Learning to Find Life After Loss

Until You Walk The Path, You Won’t Know Where it Goes is hosting author of the spiritually healing book "Out of the Ashes", Benjamin Allen on January 30, 2014 at 1 pm eastern as he shares how he found peace after the death of his family.

Benjamin Allen has worked with grieving individuals and groups for decades. He has also been trained and certified by The Grief Recovery® Institute (GRI. Benjamin began his career as a Southern Baptist minister and was the pastor of Pacifica Baptist Church in California. He worked for the Christian Life Commission of the Baptist General Convention of Texas from 1985-1991. He was the founding Director of the Dallas AIDS Interfaith Network, and a member of the Texas Legislative Task Force on AIDS and the National AIDS Commission. From 1991-1995 he worked with the HIV Research Group at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas.
Several years ago Benjamin appeared extensively in the media beginning with the New York Times, Dateline, The Today Show, Good Morning America, 20/20 and various local newspapers, especially The Dallas Morning News. His story also featured on The Oprah Winfrey show. The subject matter focused on the tragic circumstances his family endured.

His wife received a blood transfusion tainted with HIV during the birth of their first child. Consequently, his wife and their two children died, the first being in 1985 and the last death was in 1995.
In the midst of all this, one TV producer approached him to secure the rights to make a film about his life. He declined. Many people asked him to write his story, knowing how much it could potentially help others. He was not ready.

Finally, after many years of emotional and spiritual exploration, he came to a place of peace. This book, “Out of The Ashes,” details that journey. Portraying normal people in abnormal situations, the book shows how he, and those he loved and lost, came to a deeper connection with life in the embrace of death. It is an examination of what grief can take, but what it can also give. It is not a book about AIDS. It is a book that offers practical tips for dealing with any type of grief and moving into acceptance and healing.

Returning Quality to the Silver Screen

So many people complain about the quality of film and television, yet they continue to do nothing to make the needed changes in the industry. If you settle for the lesser of the available evils, you are still supporting bad entertainment.

Independent film makers have alternatives to the remakes, sequels, and rehashes. Digital advances in distribution give them the ability to support theatrical releases; thereby raising their profitability margin. They have the ability to produce quality projects. What they don’t have is the support of investors and lenders to make their projects a reality.

Never Can Say Good-bye is about having a second chance to make different decisions. It has the right message of hope at the right time. Due to the diversity of the cast and crew, it still qualities as a low budget film. A lower budget combined with a recognizable cast increases the profitability potential. In addition, the budget includes enough P & A to support 500 screens for two weeks; after which production team will decide if it will continue to self distribute or see a partnership with a distributor. Executive Producer, Theresa Chaze, has already gained the interest of three theatre chains. It will be very easy to get the 500 screens.

Like so many films, Never Can Say Good-bye’s biggest hurtle is funding. Unlike most studio films, the production team will be innovative with the production challenges, which will enhance the value of the each dollar spent during the production, post production, and the marketing of Never Can Say Good-bye. The paperwork to grandfather in Never Can Say Good-bye into Section 181 of the Jobs Act has already been completed. This is federal tax deduction gives investors a K-1 deduction equal to 100% of their investment in the production costs. Additionally, Never Can Say Good-bye LLC will be applying for and expects to be approved for the Michigan’s Film Incentive program.

It also needs the male lead. Initially Adrian Paul agreed to portray the role of Michael, but his LOI has expired. Although we are still considering him and he is listed in our presentations, we have opened up the role to other actors. We are also considering, but have not yet spoke with: Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Robby Benson.

Michael is a 45-50 year old man, who is an author and professor, but he looks more like a lumberjack. He has been looking for his twin flame for his entire life. When he moves to Coyote Springs, he thinks he has found her. But when his true twin flame appears, he realizes that he made the same horrible mistake. He must choose between reclaiming his lost love and seeking to revenge for murder of his son.

Equine Therapy: Helping Veterans Without Using Drugs

Horse and Heroes will be filmed at Charity Hill Ranch in Rapid City, Michigan. This semi-scripted documentary will provide dual benefits for military personnel and veterans. Not only will it share personal stories and raise awareness about the effectiveness of Equine Therapy, but it will also be give job preference to veterans.

Animal Assisted Therapy is extremely effective for those who are physically and emotionally challenged. It has become widely used in cases of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Closed Brain Injuries. Although almost any animal can be a healer, dogs and horses are the ones that are most commonly partnered with veterans. Dogs have the advantage of being accepted in both cities and rural areas. However, horses more accurately reflect the mood of the person handling them. This ability is helpful for the PSTD patient to learn how to recognize their own feelings. In this way, they learn how to retrain their mind and body reacts to stressers.

Founded in 2001, Charity Hill Ranch specializes in Traumatic Brain injury and PTSD. Christine O'Connell, the owner and manager, has been a PATH International Certified Instructor of 10 Years, and specializes in Traumatic Brain Injury as well as being a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. Sarah Wilson is a Mental Health Specialist with Degrees in Psychology and Education. Charity Hill Ranch has been certifed as a Premier Accredited Center of Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (P.A.T.H.). It is also a member of Horses 4 Heroes Inc.

Horses and Heroes will be hosted by veteran, Barbara (Bobby) Kilgore and will be directed by Vietnam Veteran, Larry Wilcox. These are only two of the veterans, who will be part of the production team. Horses and Heroes LLC will be hiring veterans, who are already in the entertainment industry as well as opening the door for those who are looking for a new career.

A semi-scripted documentary, Horses and Heroes will create a greater awareness of Animal Assisted Therapy for civilians, military personnel, veterans, and their families. The goal is to create an understanding of how and why the therapy works, thereby giving those suffering from PTSD another therapeutic option. To learn more about goals of Horses and Heroes and watch the video presentation go to Horses and Heroes' website at http://cproduction5.wix.com/cosmos-productions-#!page3/cee5.

Jewish mysticism with Southern Gothic Combine in Best Selling Paranormal Novel

Until You Walk The Path, You Won’t Know Where it Goes is hosting magical fantasy author J.D. Horn on January 23, 2014 at 1 pm eastern. We will be talking about how the paranormal experiences in his life influences his writing as well as combined Jewish mysticism with Southern Gothic in his novel In the Line.
J. D. Horn was raised in rural Tennessee, and has since carried a bit of its red clay in him while travelling the world, from Hollywood, to Paris, to Tokyo. He studied comparative literature as an undergrad, focusing on French and Russian in particular. He also holds an MBA in international business and worked as a financial analyst before becoming a novelist. When not writing he is likely running, and he has race bibs from two full marathons and about thirty half marathons. He and his spouse, Rich, and their three pets split their time between Portland, Oregon and San Francisco.

The Line by J. D. Horn. In advance of its release on February 1, the book has already become a best seller on Amazon.* The Line, an urban fantasy set in Savannah, Georgia, is the first book of the Witching Savannah series. In his debut as an author, Horn powerfully portrays the Hoodoo underbelly of this genteel and charming small city. Please consider interviewing J. D. for your podcast "Until You Walk the Path." I would be pleased to send you a review copy.

Recalling the otherwordly drama of Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse, The Line is centered on Mercy Taylor, young scion to the most powerful witch family of the south, who has grown up in the shadow of her talented and charismatic twin sister, because unfortunately, she was born without the gift of magic. Mercy has always thought herself content. But when a series of mishaps -- culminating in the death of the Taylor matriarch -- leaves a vacuum in the mystical underpinnings of Savannah, she finds herself thrust into a mystery that could shake her family apart, and unleash a darkness the line of Taylor witches has been keeping at bay for generations.

In this riveting contemporary fantasy, Horn delivers the full betrayal, blood, and familial discord of the best of Southern gothic.
