You are now an independent sales agent Now what?

As independent contractor or representatives, you don't have to rely on the company to promote the products you sell. In fact, most companies expect you to run multi-level campaigns. Relaying on generic promotions and marketing supports the whole company, but not yourself. Eventually, it would trickle down to you. But wouldn't you prefer to be first in line for the benefits of your work.

As a writer, producer, and editor I can support your efforts to become successful by writing press releases and producing videos/commercials.

Combining two concepts, Never Can Say Good-bye creates an innovative spin on the ghostly genre. With a tagline, “When love is forever, death is only the beginning,” it is comparable to Ghost and The Others.

Imprisoned in her family's home, the spirit of a murdered child waits for her parents to free her. But they have moved on to new lives as has her killer. Randi must bring them back together, so that they can forgive themselves and make amends. If she succeeds, they will all heal and she will be freed to also reincarnate. If she fails, their need for revenge will damn them all.

Commercials verse Internet Videos

The difference between a commercial and internet video isn't the quality of the production, but the length of time and diversity of the message. Both follow the same format of identifying a problem, presenting your product or service as the solution to that problem, and giving contact or purchase information so that the customers may solve that problem by purchasing your product or service. Both also require high audio and video production values. However, at this point, the venues diverge.

Broadcast commercials must meet industry standards for consistency in length due to the two minute commercial break format. The most popular length continues to be 30 seconds. However, due to financial reasons most broadcast stations also offer both 10 and 15 second spots. Although they are less costly, their length also severely limits their effectiveness as promotional tools. Longer commercials give more detail, yet they are more costly. However, there is a generic class of 60, 90, and 120 minute ads that are bought in bulk without any airtime restrictions that are relatively inexpensive. This may seem like a good deal on the surface, but they are plugged in wherever there is unsold commercial airtime, which frequently ends up in late night or on unpopular programming. With the goal being reaching the broadest audience, these commercials are more miss than hit. Strategically speaking, a person must be exposed at least three times to a message before she or he retains the information enough to purchase the product or service. Each airtime buy is one time shot at the audience. Once the commercial airs, more time must be purchased in order to continuing sharing you message.

Internet videos are not limited by length or broadcast content standards. However, many websites do regulate for both violence and sexual content. Unlike broadcast venues, videos can run any length. The extended format of the videos makes it very easy to go into detail about your product or service, including adding demonstrations and testimonials. Additionally, videos keep the potential customers on your site or blog longer, which increases the likelihood they will become a loyal client. Websites, such as YouTube and Vimeo, accept much longer videos, which makes sharing the video on websites, blogs, and on your social networking sites much easier not only for you, but the link and embedding code also allows others to promote your work in their networks. Once produced internet videos become one of your most cost effective tools in your marketing toolbox as there is no additional costs connected to its distribution.

Commercials and internet videos continue to be major assets in marketing and promotional toolboxes. Promoting and marketing with internet videos have made it possible for small companies to promote themselves locally, nationally, and internationally. Cosmos Productions produces high quality and cost effective videos for both products and services, which helps authors, entrepreneurs, small companies, and home-based business garner a larger share of the marketplace. How to successful promote, market, and sell on the internet

Promotions, marketing, and sales have different, yet interconnected goals. Yet many lump them into a single category. All three are necessary to generate sales that make a company profitable. Promotions identifies the need or creates the desire . Marketing shows why this particular product solves the problem or satisfies the want. Sales closes the deal by asking for the purchase and giving the details of how to buy the product or service.

Promotions creates awareness by describing or creating a problem to be solved. The messages are crafted to subliminally plant the seed in the consumers' subconscious mind, so they identify with problem or create the feeling that they are missing out on something amazing. By drawing attention to the issue that their product will solve, the promotion creates the need for the product.

Marketing promotes the product by showing how it is the answer to the problem it just created. A successful marketing campaign sets the particular product above all its competitors. More than just recognition, the marketing aspect of the message create a reputation and an expectation of the product as well as the company in the consumers mind. However, creating a brand can be a double edge sword. Overly selling a product can destroy a brand's reputation. It is easier to create and keep a good reputation than it is to repair a bad one.

Sales asks for the purchase by telling how and where it can be bought. Some pitches, but not all, also include the pricing information. The easier the product or service is to find, the more likely the consumer will investigate the product, which leads to the purchase. The easier you make it for them to find the product, the more likely they are to buy it.

Promotions, marketing, and sales need to be kept not only in balance, but also in the proper order Identifying the problem, creating the solution, and giving purchase information maximizes the effectiveness of the message. These three steps, working in tandem, creates the advertisement that reaches the consumer and empowers them to purchase the product.

Many authors, small businesses, and non-profit organizations believe that advertising is too costly for their budget. But this is far from true. The internet has created cost effective venues that enable messages to be promoted locally, national and around the world in a cost effective manor.
