The magazine seeks thoughtful, well written fiction from both Irish and international authors. Their definition of what constitutes SF, horror and fantasy is extremely broad and they are especially seeking material which pushes at the boundaries. First published in 1993, ‘Albedo One’ has carried work by Ian McDonald, Anne McCaffrey, Norman Spinrad and Patricia Anthony. Length: between 2,500 and 8,000 words. Submissions: All submissions should be typewritten, on A4 paper, double-spaced, using one side of the paper and leaving at least 1 inch margins all around. All hard-copy submissions must be accompanied by a SAE or reply coupon. Usually accepts only previously unpublished stories, does not accept simultaneous submissions. Also seeks artwork for stories.
