The magazine seeks thoughtful, well written fiction from both Irish and international authors. Their definition of what constitutes SF, horror and fantasy is extremely broad and they are especially seeking material which pushes at the boundaries. First published in 1993, ‘Albedo One’ has carried work by Ian McDonald, Anne McCaffrey, Norman Spinrad and Patricia Anthony. Length: between 2,500 and 8,000 words. Submissions: All submissions should be typewritten, on A4 paper, double-spaced, using one side of the paper and leaving at least 1 inch margins all around. Samantha Eliza Stone worked in a café,library and homeless shelter downstairs from the offices of
Edward Stone and Tyler Vine. The ambulance was the first to arrive on scene and followed by reporters and Jehova Witnesses handing out flyers sat their usual juncteries. Every day Samantha would work in café baking an assortment of delicessy only found in the café and mildly priced them gave out sosasp box therapy and karookee and tell your stories for her customers. Her stepfather ,
Hue Cardamom worked in building as the genitor. Samantha’s oringal dad had died at age 52 of lung cancer and tumor. But left his daughter with 40 grand. Today Samantha began to read the daily five papers that reacher her doorstep at the café. She would collect and cut out articles on mental health and Try to associations to help the viticms of homelessness in Vancouver. This was not an esay feet. Suddenly the cops and paramedics ran into the café and into the elevator. The other two parpmeditcs ran up the stairs. Samantha knew that somehow Tyler vine was in one foot in the grave. She began to pray for him and spoke his sacred name, Thor! As the parmedics rushed him down Royal Columbia where the was only 15 MIR machines and out of those 15 MIRS only six were working today. In his office Edward walked around his desk wearing groove in the carpet and knitting. Yeah knitting was his hobby. He stopped knitting and dropped needless to the floor and then opened the door only see dramatic spray of cameras people waiting at lobby. Hi old sectary , Mrs. ALL-brightness had fled the coop with her finger prints on the poisoned coffee maker. Not single person had seen her put the syrine of poision in the coffee. Then Stone saw Tyler Vine lying on the floor and then lifted him on to the gurney. It was total chaos. Repoters begin to aim questions and their camera at the secene
